I read this book in one sitting, I literally could not put it down. I was hooked from the first page as I learned about Jimmy 'Guitar' Velvet's life. The imagery painted through the words made everything very vivid. Then, as Jimmy makes his celestial journey, it all seemed real and made sense to me. Jimmy ends up having conversations with rock 'n roll icons through different decades. I am a rabid music fan, and over the years I have read many books and articles about these icons. Given everything I know about them, these conversations felt like they happened. Their communication styles and mannerisms are captured very authentically. And there is humor and adventure and intrigue along the way. I could go further with this, but would risk giving too much away. A great journey awaits for everyone who reads this book!!
