I'm using these on 18 privacy fence posts and on 4 deck stairs and they are perfect. Adding the lights to my backyard completely changed the mood after dark; now it feels cozy and relaxing instead of dark and eerie. I was initially only going to light a small section of my backyard but it looked so good, I ordered another box of 12 and added them to the rest of the yard and to my deck stairs.Pro: Definitely the price. They are a great value for the money. Nice amount of soft lighting, it makes me more comfortable when I'm out side and it makes me smile to look out of my back window before I go to bed.Con: I had to buy a drill, strip a lot of screws and learn to drill pilot holes. Whew - Could I have just used gorilla glue?, One of the 24 lights has to be 'flicked' on. I like the lights but I would like them more if they were a little bit brighter but for the money - I got more than I expected.I have a few other MAGGIFT brand lights around my property, so I was sure that the brand’s quality was not an issue (I use their smaller Shepard-hook lanterns for other part of my landscaping). These solar lights work perfectly to add a tad of light in the once darkest corners of my backyard. They don’t illuminate enough to be used for more than subtle decoration or effect, but that’s really all we needed against our wooden stockade fence. I’m impressed!Bought these and installed them on my deck stairs. After 2 weeks of mostly sunny days, had a bonfire out back. At 9 pm, the lights were nice and bright (except for one dead one and one almost dead one), but by midnight the LED on all the lights was barely lit, and not lighting up the steps. Disappointed. I have new batteries I will try but for the money paid shouldn't have to replace the batteries after 2 weeks.Not that bright.but good quality.Las utilice para la barda de la casa,y muy facil de instalarThese lights lite the stairs very well but thy were a little difficult to install.This product is ok. It’s not as bright as it looks in the pictures and pictures people post. In addition, if you get one cloudy day, you won’t have enough charge for the night.These are nice little lights. I put them on the posts of my privacy fence in the backyard. They look really good. Bought 3 packs.These lights are super easy to install, work great, last long and look beautiful… What compelled me to write a review is a recent event of a several day power outage that we just had because of a tornado. These lights came so much in handy… they can easily be unclipped from the screws that hold them so we brought them inside to light the hallways and the stairs for the night… I was so grateful for them! We placed them so they kept all the important parts of our house lit, stairs, washrooms etc… as everything was pitch black. We were easily able to clip them back to our deck when the power came back. I realize that’s not the intended use for them but this was a huge perk and helped keep our family safe! I’m ordering a second set now!I bought a set of 12 of these solar lights for my fence posts. They don't light up a darn thing. Gives off a yellow dot of lighting. Doesn't brighten anything up a foot in any direction. The lights I had before these would light up 3ft in any direction. Would send them back but amount to time, effort and new holes put intothe fence posts, not worth it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!The solar works great. Just fits a 4x4 post. Only issue is the mounting screws are not made of quality of metal and the head strips easy. The screw heads are on the smaller size so your standard #8 screw does not fit the mounting bracket, so be careful not to strip the screw head.I wasn't expecting much in the way of overall lighting but these are extremely disappointing. My application was fence post lighting, for the purpose ambient lighting. Purely decorative. Short of pitch black conditions, these were not noticeable at all. I knew it was going to be a problem when I saw one single tiny led square on the inside of the casing. Buyer beware.These come on at dusk and stay on all night. They project a soft light and a classy look. We installed them all along our stairs at our riverfront lot, it is a treed lot, therefore some of the lights don’t get much sun but still stay on as long as the others do.
