Unfortunately this is the only fully orchestral album Brentwood Jazz released. This music is however very creative, really tight as far as syncopation goes. These guys really know how to play. This is a well led and arranged orchestra. The tempo of this album overall is fast paced and quite exciting. If you like every kind of wind instrument, Trumpet, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trombone well, there are solos and combinations of many of these together.A friend loaned me this album. When I went to return it he gave this album to me. I have been grateful ever since. I have spent many hours listening to this album. I grew up listening to every kind of music but I grew up learning to play Jazz drums so I have a special place in my heart for music like this. Some of this music is reminiscent of movie music like Our man Flint, Man from UNCLE, and other 1960's spy movies and TV shows. Several songs are very distinctly of the Christian Faith being that Brentwood is a suburb of Nashville the capital of Christian music as well as southern styles of music. If you like really Jazzy Big Band sounds, this is one album to include in your music collection. I got a copy of this album for a friend who was a music teacher in a Michigan college for many years. He has played with many Big Bands, TV shows and movie scores in Hollywood and he loves this album for it's creativity and arrangements. He thinks this album is Fantastic.Don't buy this album if you are not into serious jazz. This would however make an exquisite gift for someone who is a true musician and has a love for very creative jazz. If you are like me and love really well performed music, this is a great album.
