First off, love the cushioned heel. For the right foot these will fit like a glove. However, I found the shoes to run very small. I normally wear 7-1/2 for street shoes, 8 for athletic/running shoes. I purchased EUR 39-1/2 (8-1/2-9 in American sizing). I should’ve gotten size 40. I realized this after the first climb. Hopefully they will stretch a bit to become wearable. caveat emptor! These shoes are great! I usually climb in the Scarpa Vapors, which are pretty aggressive and have been hurting my feet. The Scarpa Force V are the perfect combination of comfortable but still high performance. Great for all types of climbing and all skill levels of climbing.Too small, a 71/2 looks like a 5, it does not even enter my footI am a street size 7.0 and got a 5.5 after returning them! I LOVE THIS SHOE, though. Best climbing shoe I have had thus far. I lead, sport, and boulder. Love it for all three. I've gone indoors and out with them. Great for both. Not stinky either :)Very well made. This brand runs VERY SMALL but as long as you know that going in, you should be fine. I normally go a full size down in climbing shoes, but wear my normal size in these.Great shoes! They have good flexibility.I bought these in Sept 2019 so it’s been a year. At that time I had only been climbing about 6 months and currently had a pair of turantulace by la sportiva. I purchased these in store and ended up buying a 40.5. I should’ve went smaller. I wear a 7.5 in dress shoes and sandals. An 8-8.5 in gym shoes. These shoes were very snug when I first put them on of course but they obviously stretch. I still climb in them to this day and they are VERY comfortable but a 39.5 probably would have been a better choice.I’ve had no foot staining and they are holding up well. I climb at least 3 times a week indoors.I love climbing with these more than the Helix scarpas because these feel sturdier - I feel like I can always get better footing when I climb with these. I tried the Helix after I used these for a few years and I wish I stuck with these - totally worth the price difference.
