Just want to come right out and say that I give this collection 5 stars just as a collection. Five enjoyable (mostly, more on that later) Meiko Kaji blu ray films in one package for this price is a steal. That being said the films themselves I'd much lower individually.Delinquent Girl Boss is the first film in the set and in my opinion easily the best of the set. This was the only one that I could have seen released as a stand alone. One thing I didn't like was that this movie was broken down into chapters by a day of the week which is fine. However the chapter would start of by showing the day of the week on screen for a second or two and when this happened the the screen would get wonky and turn green each time that happens for that second or two. Not sure why it does that or if it's intentional. Just a heads up in case anyone notices it as well. I'd give this film 3 and half starsWild Jumbo is the second film. At the start of this one I wasn't really feeling it but as it went on I enjoyed it more. I especially liked the ending which was my favorite ending in the set. I'd give this one 2 and a half stars, maybe 3.Sex Hunter was the third film and by far the most disappointing of the set. It had a really interesting idea behind it but just really fell short. On top of that I absolutely hated the ending which was a mess and made no sense. I'd give this one a generous 2 stars.Machine Animals was the fourth film. This one was enjoyable throughout. Nothing remarkable but at the same time there wasn't anything bad with it either. I'd give this one 2 and a half stars.Beat 71 is the final film in the set and probably my second favorite. It was wacky and funny which had me laughing quite a few times throughout this film. This was definitely the right film choice to end the collection on. I'd give this one 3 stars.Overall other than one film I wasn't crazy about this was a great collection of films on blu ray for the price. As a Meiko Kaji fan this is a no brainier must have for your collection.
