I ordered purple twice not realizing it's is an ugly brown skull with purple lights insideThese arrived yesterday and of course as soon as I got them I slapped some batteries in them and gave them a try. All the lights worked, The color purple is spectacular, and they are very bright for the skulls to be as dark as they are. I was disappointed to find that a day or two after I purchased these at $12.99 they were marked down to $6.99, and of course in order to get them for the price that they are now listed as I was told by Amazon that I would have to reorder and return one set for a refund. I wasn't going through all that trouble for $6. That's crazy. I also was disappointed to find out that one of the skulls had a pretty big hole in the back of it and the hole was actually cracked a little bit around it. I ordered these just in the nick of time because I'm going to be using them as decoration at a show that we are vending at the end of the month so I don't have time to return and wait on another set so I'll just deal with my $13 broken lights maybe try to fix that one with some kind of tape or something. But all in all I do recommend these lights.Nice bright colors. Which is surprising because when the skulls are not lit, they are a brownish color.There are several color options available. I went with the multi-color skulls. The first time I turned them on outside, it felt a bit Christmassy actually.Push the button on the battery pack several times to reach the slo glo light setting. (Or maybe it was the slow fade light setting). The skulls will be purple and green and then slowly change to two other colors. In my opinion, a better option for when you display the lights outside.It came with a remote that I haven't used yet.Bought these lights not knowing how great they would be. They are awesome!!! Great quality and they show off wonderful in the dark. 5 star for sureRemote works, but can't figure out timer. I pressed "On" then "Timer" but stays on throughout the night, not the 8 hours. I'd like someone to say how timer is activated.Amazing lights, lots of setting options. I liked them so much I bought two more strands great quality for the price cant be beatThey were smaller than I expected but really cool when lit up!
